In addition to being the founder of 1sixty8 media, he is also the owner of Mobile Edge, one of the top mobile electronics retailers in the US and the 2010 Mobile Electronics Retailer of the Year. Todd Ramsey, feature writer for the In-Car Tech section of Dealerscope magazine, hammers home the need for a quality web presence for mobile electronics retailers:

Some retailers complain about not being able to compete with the low prices on the internet, when a core issue is that a search on Google or the major engines omits that retailer. It’s because the have virtually no tangible website presence.

The in-depth interview focused on the need for a quality website and the fact that a website is not an expense, but an investment in your company. Schaffer had this to say:

It is tremendously important that  a quality website is in place before retailers engage in any other web-based promotion such as social media or Adwords.
