Website Redesign Completed For Top US Mobile Electronics Retailer

Extreme Audio Richmond

Extreme Audio of the Richmond, Virginia area is one of the top facilities of its kind… ANYWHERE.  They have almost everything going for them:

  • Great Location
  • Talented Employees
  • World Class Showroom
  • State of the Art Installation Facilities
  • A Loyal Client Base

In August of 2013, Extreme Audio was named the 2013 Mobile Electronics Retailer of the Year.  This is the biggest honor awarded in their industry.  But there was one piece of the puzzle that was missing……

Existing Website Didn’t Represent Store’s Quality

Extreme Audio’s website was seriously lacking in quality and performance.  It was a Joomla site that was cobbled together over the years and did not properly represent the quality of the store itself. After inspecting the previous site, we also found that the site was not optimized properly.   The site was in serious need of an overhaul.

Extreme Audio Website RedesignWebsite Redesign Addresses Client Concerns

Owner Mike Bartells was very concerned about the existing “Google Juice” that his site had gained over the years.  While it was not substantial, Bartells was very clear that he wanted to maintain his site’s authority.  He was also very concerned about his existing photo galleries.  We assured him that neither of these concerns would not be a problem.

We migrated his existing content to the WordPress platform and developed a clean and speedy layout for the project.  Portfolios were created to support the existing galleries.  An important part of the project involved correctly optimizing the main category pages on the site.  We used industry standard procedures to optimize these pages for local search.  Bartells takes pride in his content (he writes it himself) and we made sure that his Google Authorship was set up properly in the new site.

Final Piece Of The Puzzle In Place

Extreme Audio now has a website that expresses the quality and professionalism that you will find at their facility.  Our website redesign addressed many issues that plagued the previous site.  Bartells was thrilled with the results and we look forward to working on additional content development and optimization in the future.
